Princess Muffin
Princess Muffin is an original 10 page comic series about a young princess who learns to step up to help others in need.
I started this project looking back on previous art I had done in the past year. One of my past projects required me to create 100 drawings in the span of 3 weeks. During those three weeks I came up with the idea of a princess who had a muffin as her dress.
After the initial drawing I wanted to see what other characters I could design for her candy kingdom. I created her mother who I called Queen Cupcake. I added her citizens who included a Macaroon Maid and a Cookie Knight.
A year went by after the initial designs and I decided to revisit the drawing to see how much my skills have improved. I redrew Princess muffin with my improved skills and decided to use the design for the cover art.
From there I went to work. I started with writing an outline for the plot and writing about each of the characters. Afterward, I went to the drawing board and created thumbnails for what each panel would look like. Afterward, I added linear then filled it with color. I added the words and speech bubbles and together I had a ten page comic!
The final product includes 10 pages of story, original art, and original characters. The story is designed to have the potential to be continued. I live by the motto that no effort is wasted, and I make that happen within each of my original ideas and works.
